Taekwondo
Taekwondo is a martial art as well as an Olympic sport mainly focusing on kicking techniques and much emphasis is put on the physical training requiring strength, body coordination, balance and speed. Through Taekwondo, pupils will learn how to control not just their body but also their mind. Taekwondo requires much concentration and self-determination.
About Cheung Do Kwan Team
Cheung Do Kwan was founded in 1988 by Grandmaster Woo Jong Pill who opened the school with the goal of strengthening the mind, believing that a stronger mentality will help students grow without limit. Cheung Do Kwan is now Hong Kong’s top Taekwondo School.
Cheung Do Kwan focuses on teaching the values of Taekwondo to pupils; thus we strive to train and discipline pupils so that positive changes can be made to their lives through the very important aspects of Taekwondo: Respect & Courtesy, Integrity and Perseverance.
All our coaches speak fluent English and are all qualified Black Belts from KUKKIWON with overseas experience from countries such as Singapore, Australia, Philippines & Korea.
The school possesses excellent and professional instructors who are fully qualified to teach and are all fully certified Black belts or above from KUKKIWON (World Taekwondo Headquarters located in Korea).
