At Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong, we regard the experiences that take place alongside classroom learning as an integral part of a rich and holistic education. Parent-child activities, performances beyond the school campus and extra-curricular opportunities allow pupils to discover new interests, share their talents and grow in confidence.
Situated within one of the world’s most culturally diverse cities, we also take great pleasure in celebrating a variety of festivals throughout the year. These occasions invite children to discover different traditions, develop respect for others and experience the joy of coming together as a community.
Led by our dedicated music teacher, engaging and age-appropriate lessons introduce children to rhythm, singing and movement. Through melodies, beats, dance and instruments, pupils develop their musical awareness while experiencing the pleasure of making music together.
Clapping, skipping and whole-body movement further support coordination and control, while nurturing creativity, concentration, self-expression and confidence.
Our enrichment programme extends children’s learning through language, music, sport, creative arts and selected STEAM experiences. Guided by experienced educators, each activity offers pupils an enjoyable opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills and approach fresh experiences with confidence.
The programme is thoughtfully planned for different ages and stages. Available activities may vary from term to term according to enrolment and provider availability; families are warmly invited to refer to the school’s current programme information for the latest opportunities.
During selected school holidays, Malvern Camps offer children further opportunities to remain active, creative and engaged within the familiar surroundings of the Pre-School’s learning and play spaces. All providers are carefully vetted and experienced in delivering high-quality children’s programmes in Hong Kong.
From dance and sport to arts and crafts and STEAM, the programme is designed to offer varied, enjoyable and fulfilling holiday experiences.
Parent-child activities, performances and festival celebrations bring together school, family and community life. Through these shared occasions, pupils learn to communicate with different people, participate with growing assurance, appreciate diverse cultures and create cherished memories with those around them.
